Hey, I’m Joe Baress (aka Dukemich) and I am the founder of Cup of Joe. I absolutely love movies. If I had enough money and time, I would watch every movie that came into the theater. I go almost every week and see approximately 50 to 60 movies a year. My favorite director is Christopher Nolan. Nolan is known for the Batman trilogy, but his other movies, including Interstellar, Inception, The Prestige and Memento, are fantastic. My favorite movie is Watchmen. I enjoy watching every genre of movie except for horror because, to be honest, horror movies flat out scare me.

I graduated from the University of Scranton with a degree in journalism. Besides movies, I also have a passion for sports, which is why I work as a sports editor for The Times-Tribune in Scranton, Pa., where I design pages and cover football games. I also have an annual Oscar column.

Hello, blogosphere! I’m Jeremy Evans, co-author here at Cup of Joe. I go by the name Ssjrem, and I cover any and all things box office. I’ve been studying the box office as a hobby for more than a decade, so I’d like to think I know a thing or two about it. Like Dukemich, I graduated with a degree in journalism. Merging my interest in writing with my love of movies seemed like a no brainer, so here I am. In addition to movies, I also enjoy video games, running and photography.
